Fill out your I-765 with confidence.

Talk it through like a normal conversation, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, and I-765 Helper fills in the real USCIS Form I-765, the Application for Employment Authorization, from what you say. Prefer typing? That works too.

How it works

  1. Say why you're applying.

The app asks whether this is a first card or a replacement, and which eligibility category you're filing under. If your category isn't one it covers, it stops and points you to an attorney.

  2. Grab your passport.

Show the photo page and the app reads up to five answers off it. A USCIS receipt notice gives it your A-Number. You check each one. You can skip this.

  3. Talk it through.

Answer in your own words, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, or type if you'd rather.

  4. Check your answers.

Every answer is listed in the order the form asks for it. Tap any one to fix it. Anything the form still needs shows under "Needs you."

  5. Print it, sign it, file it.

Pay once per application to print, share or save your filled-in I-765. Sign where the form asks, gather what USCIS lists for your category, and file it the way USCIS's instructions say, by mail or, for some categories, online.

Just talk it through

No 7-page form on a tiny screen. Talk or type the way you would tell a friend, and the app puts each answer in the right box on the form, even when one reply covers several questions.

Start with your passport

Show the photo page and the app reads your name as printed, your date of birth, your nationality, the passport number and its expiry date. A USCIS receipt notice gives it your A-Number. Both are read on your iPhone and never uploaded. You check each answer before it's saved. You can skip this.

See every answer

Your answers list shows everything in the order the form asks for it. Tap anything to change it, free, as often as you like. Anything the form still needs is listed under "Needs you."

Stand-ins for your personal details

There's no account and nothing to sign up for. Your voice and your document photos stay on your iPhone. Before your words go to our server, the app looks for your personal details and swaps the ones it finds for stand-ins. The app asks first: its first screen, "Before we start," tells you what gets sent and that AI services from other companies read it. Nothing is sent until you tap "Agree and continue." How we handle your data.

Free to fill out

Filling out the form and previewing every page are free. You pay once per application, only to print, share or save it. No subscription. You don't have to finish first. Tap "See the form so far" whenever you're ready.

Know when to get help

Some cases need an immigration attorney. If your category isn't one the app covers, or an answer hits one of its stop points, the app says so and links to USCIS's page on finding legal help. It never decides your category or whether you qualify.

Who this is for

People in the United States preparing Form I-765 themselves, for a first work permit card or a replacement, in one of the categories the app covers:

If your situation isn't on this list, the app sends you to an attorney instead of guessing. Some answers may need an immigration attorney's help even inside these categories. The app tells you when, and links to USCIS's page on finding a lawyer or accredited representative.
